In a nutshell….

Kinesiology is a system of diffusing stress and energy blocks within the body to help people move out of dis-ease into a place of wellness. All imbalances and dis-ease in the body are due to one of the following types of stress:

  • Emotional

  • Physical

  • Chemical

  • Electrical

Kinesiology is a non-invasive, safe and holistic healing modality which balances all aspects of the human body, mind and spirit combining Eastern wisdom with Western philosophy and science. When the entire being is in balance, the body’s ability to heal itself is activated.

With the help of various balancing techniques, clients are able to increase their healthy perception of self and move into health and wellness from stress, dis-ease and fear. This gives them the ability to function from a place of freedom and choice with stronger, more nourishing relationships with self and others.

The long version….

Kinesiology uses energetic bio-feedback through muscle monitoring to ascertain where in the body energetic blockages or excesses exist and then implement one of hundreds of healing tools and techniques available to them to correct the imbalance and bring about change.

Bio-feedback through muscle monitoring bypasses the conscious mind allowing for changes to be made directly in the subconscious accelerating congruence and awareness. Changes to the state of muscles are seen and felt by clients making the subconscious stress visible and tangible.

Kinesiologists work as facilitators or interpreters to help you understand the signals that your body is sending you, to prioritise the corrections required to balance the aspects which need modifying and give you greater self-awareness to encourage and fast-track change.

Every life event both effects and affects us, from the way we interact with everyone we cross paths with in life to how we respond under pressure. We store each emotional, physical and mental message in our cellular memory and each one can impact our life. By breaking through these stresses and stores we can re-wire the neural pathways in our brain and change life-long habits, behaviours, sabotage programmes and turn to a life of positive connection and manifestation of abundance.

Kinesiology can help overcome:

  • Emotional Trauma and Pain

  • Fatigue – including Chronic Fatigue and Adrenal Exhaustion

  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Hormone Imbalances including PMT/PMS, Menopause and Adrenal Maladaptation

  • Learning Difficulties

  • Physical Trauma, Pain and Injury including Sports Performance and Injury

  • Changing Habitual Cycles

  • Digestive Issues

  • Abuse Cycles

  • Addictions

  • Weight Loss

With the help of various balancing techniques, clients are able to:

  • Increase healthy perceptions of self

  • Learn to balance the Divine Feminine and Masculine

  • Achieve goals

  • Build relationships

  • Improve connections to self, others and spirit

  • Clear self-sabotaging behaviours

  • Manifest abundance and growth

  • Remove self-limiting beliefs

  • Empower ownership of decision making

  • Reignite the healing ability of the body

  • Change habits and self-destructive behaviour patterns

  • Function from a place of freedom and choice

Each kinesiology balance is as individual as the client on the table. It is an exciting and humbling privilege to facilitate a range of personal healing experiences which uniquely empower people to take their lives to the next level and live the best life they are able to live.

I look forward to working with you soon!

I was born in Perth, grew up in Adelaide and then spent 11 years in London and Hertfordshire before moving to Melbourne in 2011. At University, I studied Communications and found myself working in Event Management and Corporate Communications for companies such as Schroder Investment Management and Shell International Petroleum Company.

Whilst the corporate game in London fed my need for success and my life goals at the time, it was not personally sustainable throughout the child-rearing years. I was on my own, across the other side of the globe from my family in Adelaide, and without support, I needed to prioritise motherhood and my children.

This loss of self was what began my journey to kinesiology and the life I am living today.

The first sign things were not completely right was highlighted shortly after having children when physical symptoms appeared including increased pre-menstrual symptoms, a lack of restful, good-quality sleep and general lack of ability to function “normally”. As with a great number of new mums I put it down to having 2 young children and a husband who worked away from Monday to Friday and spent much of the weekend pursuing his own interests.

About 5 years ago things intensified and I found myself needing 3 hour naps in the afternoon to get through the day – a very unlikely behaviour for someone who was usually a motivated, self-starter with loads of energy. As with many people in our modern life, I ignored the signs and pushed on through putting it down to the “changing weather” or a “phase” I was going through.

Later that year, I injured my foot quite significantly and doctors told me that I had the signs of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Hashimotos – both autoimmune diseases. I started to see a Naturopath and changed my eating habits, eliminating all processed foods, gluten, minimalising my dairy intake and removing as much sugar as possible from my diet. Despite these efforts and going to the gym for 5+ sessions per week, I was heavier than I had ever been, more sluggish and could shift neither the weight nor the body fat. I was teetering on the edge of depression and could not comprehend where I was going wrong.

By the start of April 2015, I felt I was a completely broken shell of the human I used to be. Barely eating, still gaining both weight and body fat, moody and borderline depressed.

This was NO WAY to live and I wanted answers!

I saw naturopaths, Chinese doctors, chiropractors and psychologists – I refused to take the anti-depressants the GP was recommending as I wanted holistic, natural answers. One day, I happened across a Kinesiologist and my life changed completely. I had never heard of this modality and was immediately curious. My first session blew my life apart completely.

My kinesiologist walked with me on my path to wellness and healing. We have cleared emotional traumas, sabotage programmes, abuse cycles, chipped away at old belief systems which no longer serve me, creating new neural pathways from which I can function and grow without limits. We connected me back into my body, mind and spirit. The weight dropped off, I gained muscle, my mood and sleep improved and I had clearer insights into all the causes of this lack of wellness, this dis-ease in my body.

By the October, I had started studying kinesiology so that I too could help people the way my kinesiologist helped me and I haven’t looked back.

I bring as many tools to the table as I can each balance to give my clients the same opportunities I had to crack through their self-limitations, old belief patterns and enable, encourage, empower and lock-in new ways of being for a positive, happy, healthy life of well-being.
